Medals for our young athletes!

Last weekend - 02.11.2013.g., bobsled and luge track Sigulda was Children's luge start push competition.
Competitions were for participants in age 17. Bringing together more than 40 young “fighter”. The largest number of participants were in the group B (12 - 14.y.) - 23 athletes!

As our Chief Judge and trainer Ingrid Amantova reported, competitions have been at the highest level.'' We had everything. Diplomas, medals and also tension. It was really surprising how much tension had these children! Many participants in training use to showe better results, but this time could not deal with stress and they had to lose. That's good, because this is how we get experience. This entire season, the young athletes has to show their best if they want to participate in the 35th FIL European Junior Championship, which will take place in Sigulda,'' says Ingrid Amantova

Best of Group A youth was Ralph Bērziņš. Leaving behind Ernests Rudzītis and Andis Andrejonoks. While at the B group this time strongest man Roberts Plūme, second Mārtiņš Bots.
For young girls in group B the best Zelma Bite, second place Arinai Cicjurai, which was better than Sigita Bērziņa.
Doubles competition, where started three teams, the fastest Ralfs Bērziņš / Andis Andrejonoks.

In early December, the new luge racers will battle for JKSS cup, which will be conducted in two sections.
